Shaun Fraser is the Assistant Experimental Officer/Instrumentation Engineer at the FloWave facility. His primary responsibilities include sensor and instrumentation integration, data acquisition and management, as well as providing general assistance with tank test programmes.

Shaun graduated with a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in 2024. During his studies, he completed summer internships at FloWave in 2022 and 2023, where he developed hardware and software for the FloWave data acquisition system and upgraded the facility's website. He also undertook his degree honours project in collaboration with the facility, developing a novel concept for a 3D ultrasonic flowmeter. Shaun joined the FloWave team full-time in July 2024.
